HighLevel (many contractors still search for it as GoHighLevel or GHL) gets pitched to trades owners constantly, usually by an agency that runs it for you. The pitch is often "replace your CRM, your texting tool and your follow-up in one place." Some of that is true. Some of it will cost you your dispatch board.
This is a plain review for an owner or ops lead who already runs ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro or Jobber and is deciding whether HighLevel belongs next to it. Product and integration claims come from HighLevel's and the field service vendors' own pages, read in October 2026. We sell no software and have no relationship with HighLevel or any of these vendors. For the wider picture of how AI and marketing tools should connect to your field software, start with our guide to connecting AI to ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro and Jobber.
What HighLevel is, from its own pricing page
HighLevel's pricing page, as of October 2026, lists three monthly plans plus Enterprise:
- Starter, $97 per month: 3 sub-accounts, unlimited contacts and users.
- Unlimited, $297 per month: unlimited sub-accounts, phone and email rebilling, and what the page calls basic API access.
- Agency Pro, $497 per month: adds SaaS mode, automated sub-account creation and advanced API access.
Two details matter to a contractor. First, the plan structure is built around sub-accounts: one agency account that spins up a workspace per business. If an agency runs HighLevel for you, find out whose agency account your sub-account lives under, because that decides who controls your contacts, workflows and phone numbers if you part ways. Second, usage is billed on top. The page marks Voice AI, Conversation AI, Reviews AI, email, SMS and calling as usage-based, and says usage covers phone numbers, SMS, emails and premium AI. It also lists AI Employee add-ons at $50 and $97 per month per sub-account. Voice AI and Conversation AI show no fixed price, so budget from your own call and text volume, not the headline plan price.
What it does well for a trades shop
HighLevel's strength is the layer that sits above the job: getting a lead in, talking to it, and keeping the conversation going.
- Lead capture and follow-up sequences. Forms, texts, emails and calls in one timeline with automations. This is where most shops under-invest, and where the money leaks. Our post on why contractors lose booked jobs after the lead comes in covers the gap.
- Marketing campaigns that field service software handles thinly. Reactivation texts, seasonal tune-up campaigns and review requests are easy to build.
- One inbox for texts and email. Useful if your CSRs live in the field software but your marketing responses are scattered.
- AI voice and chat as add-ons. HighLevel lists Voice AI and Conversation AI. Whether either is good enough for your calls is something to test on your own recordings, not take from a demo. See our comparison of AI receptionists and answering services for how to run that test.
If you want a marketing and follow-up engine and you do not mind owning the setup, this is a reasonable fit. Our AI lead generation and follow-up service covers the same ground in a managed form.
Where it should not replace your field service software
Your field service platform is where the job lives: the customer record, the appointment, the technician assigned, the status, the invoice. HighLevel's documentation describes contacts, workflows and messaging. Nothing we read in HighLevel's pricing page or its integration help articles describes a dispatch board, pricebook or technician mobile workflow. Check that yourself before assuming otherwise.
Three practical reasons not to swap platforms:
- Dispatch and capacity are built into the field platforms. ServiceTitan's voice agent books against "Adaptive Capacity," which factors in job type, location and skill sets. A CRM that does not know who is on a truck cannot promise a time slot.
- The record of truth must be single. Run jobs in HighLevel and you rebuild your reporting, payroll tie-ins and accounting sync. Housecall Pro's pricing page, for example, lists QuickBooks Online sync as an Essentials feature. Rebuild that elsewhere and you own the maintenance.
- Automations that read job status need accurate status. If the field platform says the job is canceled and HighLevel does not know, the customer gets the wrong text. The failure modes are in our integration pillar.
The better pattern: keep the field software as the system of record and let HighLevel handle outreach, with a documented, tested connection between them.
Native integration status, verified at the source (as of October 2026)
This is the part that gets misreported. Many agency blogs state integration status from memory. Here is what the vendors' own pages say.
Jobber: native, with documented limits
HighLevel and Jobber announced a native integration on September 19, 2025. HighLevel's help article ("How to Integrate Jobber with HighLevel," last updated October 22, 2025) describes a two-way client sync. It lists synced fields: first and last name, email, phone, address, lead source, Jobber client URL, created date and tags. It lists what does not sync: custom fields from Jobber, notes and attachments. Other limits it states:
- Only one HighLevel sub-account can connect to a given Jobber account.
- Historic data can be imported once, and the start date cannot be changed afterward.
- The sync cannot be paused. You stop it by disconnecting the app in Jobber.
- Sync logs are not currently available.
- Records match on Jobber client ID, so changing an email or phone number should not create a duplicate.
- Only Agency Admins can view and install the app.
The September 2025 press release and HighLevel's Jobber landing page describe syncing job notes, statuses and custom fields, and say setup uses an API key. The help article describes an authorization flow in the App Marketplace and says notes do not sync. These sources conflict. Treat the help article as more specific and confirm on a test client before you build workflows that depend on notes.
Housecall Pro: native workflow integration (June 2026)
HighLevel's changelog announced Housecall Pro support in Workflows. The first release had two triggers and one action. HighLevel's help article, "Housecall Pro Workflow action and triggers," last updated June 18, 2026, now describes nine triggers (job created, scheduled, finished and canceled; estimate created, scheduled and finished; lead created; customer created) and fourteen actions covering customers, jobs, job appointments, estimates and leads. Setup uses a Housecall Pro API key generated in API Key Management.
What the article says to watch:
- Triggers poll Housecall Pro. Creation triggers check every 5 minutes, and scheduled, finished and canceled triggers every 10 minutes. This is not instant.
- The article does not document rate limits, retry behavior or deduplication.
- The action list includes creating and updating job appointments but does not list marking a job finished, adding job notes or invoicing.
- Triggers and actions use premium action credits, billed by HighLevel. Housecall Pro usage is billed separately by Housecall Pro.
- Plan requirement: HighLevel's article says it works on paid Housecall Pro plans that support Full Access API keys and tells you to confirm with Housecall Pro support. Housecall Pro's own pricing page lists "full API access" under its MAX plan only. These do not obviously agree. Confirm your plan's API access with Housecall Pro before you buy.
Older pages still claim Housecall Pro is "Zapier only." As of the HighLevel documentation above, that is out of date. Housecall Pro does separately offer Zapier, which its help center says is available on Essentials, Essentials +, and Max.
ServiceTitan: no native integration found
We found no ServiceTitan connection in HighLevel's help center, changelog or integration pages. One HighLevel feature-request page for a Housecall Pro integration, opened in 2023, has a July 22, 2026 user comment asking for ServiceTitan and Jobber too; it shows no HighLevel staff reply. That is a user request, not a roadmap commitment.
If you run ServiceTitan, any connection is custom, via a bridge tool or a certified app. ServiceTitan's page on approved integration paths, updated September 27, 2026, allows Certified Apps and Customer-Built Apps (the latter limited to The Works or Enterprise Plus packages) and prohibits a third party using your App Key. It does not mention Zapier or Make, so ask integrations@servicetitan.com before building a HighLevel bridge on your keys.
How to decide
- Running Jobber or Housecall Pro and want better follow-up: HighLevel can sit beside them. Test the sync on a sandbox client, and check whether you need to own the agency account.
- Running ServiceTitan: think hard before adding a second system that needs a custom bridge. ServiceTitan's own marketing and AI products or certified marketplace apps may be the lower-risk path. Weigh those against a bridge you would have to maintain.
- Planning to text customers from HighLevel: registration and consent come first. See our posts on A2P 10DLC registration and the TCPA texting rules for contractors.
Our Booked-Jobs Recovery System is vendor-neutral: missed-call recovery, follow-up and after-hours qualification wired into whatever field service software you already run, whether or not HighLevel is part of it.
Frequently asked questions
Does GoHighLevel integrate with ServiceTitan?
We found no native ServiceTitan integration in HighLevel's own documentation as of October 2026. Connections are custom, through bridge tools or certified apps. Check HighLevel's App Marketplace and changelog, and confirm the route with ServiceTitan.
Does GoHighLevel integrate with Housecall Pro?
Yes, natively in Workflows since June 2026 per HighLevel's changelog, with nine triggers and fourteen actions as of its June 18, 2026 help article. Triggers poll every 5 to 10 minutes, and API access depends on your Housecall Pro plan.
Does GoHighLevel integrate with Jobber?
Yes, since September 2025. HighLevel's help article describes a two-way client sync, and says notes, attachments and Jobber custom fields do not sync.
Can GoHighLevel replace my field service software?
Nothing in the HighLevel documentation we read describes dispatch, pricebook or technician tools. Use it for marketing and follow-up and keep your field platform as the record of jobs.
